DECA

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges across the globe. DECA members can begin their participation in the high school division as early as the ninth grade and continue through college graduation by participating in the collegiate division. With over a 60 year history, DECA has impacted the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. 

Want To Join Deca?

Interested in joining DECA? You can sign up for DECA when you choose your classes. Just look for 'Business, Marketing & Finance I' and choose it as your elective. This is a first year class that is held for all grades (9-12) and is focused on introducing students into the world of business.

Herbie's

Students must work in Herbie's for at least one week each month for class credit. This is 20% of your grade and can make your grade drop or rise significantly. Your participation is very important in your DECA class and in your life. It will help if you get a job dealing with cash registers or handling money. Working more than what is required will result in extra credit. A student can never have to much extra credit!
