Financial Aid
The first step is to create an FSA ID. This is an account you need to create that will let you sign in to and also complete the FAFSA.
Both you and your parent need an FSA ID
If your parent does not have a SSN, then they do not need to create an FSA ID, but if they do have an SSN, they must create an FSA ID.
FSA ID's are tied to a person's SSN. Only ONE FSA ID per SSN is allowed. If your parent already created one for themselves or an older sibling, they will use the same FSA ID. If they can't remember it, they will have to use the "forgot password" or "forgot username" links at the site or they will have to call the FAFSA at 1-800-908-9946
The link to the FSA ID website is here:
The FAFSA opens on October 1, 2021.

There are ongoing FAFSA Money Mondays through the NMEAF. You can find more information about this in room 106 or on flyers posted around the school. Check out the flyers below!
